Gilberto (Gilbert) Cavazos III was born and raised in the heart of South Texas with a passion for the arts. This passion lead him to pursue a degree in Film from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida with the hopes of bringing knowledge and creativity back to his home. Gilbert specializes in Video editing and Production audio. He has been editing since 2012 and has won multiple awards at film races with the help of his talented friends, placed 8th overall in the 2015 BPA (Business Professionals of America) National Competition, and has done freelance work for motivational speakers, humanitarian efforts, Youtubers, and contract work for news stations. His Production Sound experience comes from over 150 hours of onset work as a sound mixer and boom operator. During those hours, Gilbert learned valuable skills that can be transferred to almost any profession including leadership, dedication, determination, perseverance, and dependability. Gilbert is also well versed in the world of broadcast television, having worked for 4 years at the Kats-TV station in Edinburg, Texas as well as completing over 150 hours of classes dedicated to the world of broadcast. While at Kats-TV, he was given the opportunity to edit content for television, set up and run live streamed district events, and gain experience in news package style editing as well as camera operation. In the recent months, Gilbert has been expanding his portfolio to include Youtube content on top of his traditional media. He hopes to one day use his talents to help and inspire people from all over the world through the content he creates.
